Vision Zero is a road traffic safety project that aims to arrange data in a way that connects with people, through visual and interactive storytelling, to achieve a roadway system with zero fatalities or serious injuries.

Our current prototype, shown below, features traffic crashes in Tallahassee-Leon County in Quarter 2 of 2019. Data is from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

Goal: expand the current prototype to include a filterable map, similar to the City of Boston's, along with an interactive database. This information will be publicly avaiable to help advance the mission of zero traffic crashes in the greater Tallahassee area.
